Kingfisher reusable beeswax food wrap
Beeswax wraps are a fantastic eco-friendly alternative to cling film. Use the warmth of your hands to shape the wraps around your food. Ideal for wrapping sandwiches, snacks and leftovers (not suitable for hot or juicy foods). Wash with lukewarm soapy water and hang to dry. Each beeswax wrap should last between 6 months and a year depending on use and care. When they reach the end of their life, simply cut your beeswax wrap into pieces and add to a compost heap.
“When researching birds for my bird print range, I came across the beautiful kingfisher. The stunning colours of the feathers jumped out at me and I knew I had to make a print with it. I chose to draw the kingfisher in oil pastels to ensure the vibrant colours were as beautiful as in real life, and then spent a long time fiddling with the design to get the pattern just right.”
