Giraffe reusable beeswax food wrap

Beeswax wraps are a fantastic eco-friendly alternative to cling film. Use the warmth of your hands to shape the wraps around your food. Ideal for wrapping sandwiches, snacks and leftovers (not suitable for hot or juicy foods). Wash with lukewarm soapy water and hang to dry. Each beeswax wrap should last between 6 months and a year depending on use and care. When they reach the end of their life, simply cut your beeswax wrap into pieces and add to a compost heap. Wash before first use.

“When I was studying for my degree in Southampton, I used to visit Marwell all the time as it’s one of my favourite zoos. On one visit, the giraffes were out for their feeding and one little beauty called Ruby was posing for the camera. I drew this print inspired by the photos I took of her that day using a soft pencil, then digitalised the drawing and created a textured surface.”
