“On another dreary winter day, I was dreaming of summer and decided to make a cheery print featuring flamingos. I started drawing the fabulous birds in various media and decided on the colouring crayons version as it picked up the brilliant shades of pinks in the flamingo’s feathers the best. After a bit of tweaking and cleaning up, I worked on different print ideas and came up with a mix of flamingos and tropical leaves for a really summery feel.”
