“I have an apple tree in my garden which produces delicious apples but also encourages a lot of wildlife to the garden. One day when I was picking a basket of apples and the beautiful colours inspired me to design a print. I drew the apples that I had picked then chose a selection of shades from red to yellow. Using watercolour paints, I filled in the apple outline and scanned it into the computer. After several arrangements I designed a print composition that I was happy with.”
